Substance and Alcohol Misuse (SAM) is a free course for people in recovery from alcohol and substance misuse.
The course looks at:
- Problem solving, goal setting and action planning
- Sharing experiences with others in a similar situation
- Communication skills
- Staying well – relapse prevention
- Healthy eating
- Relaxation techniques
- Healthy lifestyle
- Dealing with difficult emotions
Who can take part?
Any adult who is in recovery from substance and alcohol misuse, providing they are stable.
